I just bought a ryzen 5 1600 with a msi b350m gaming pro motherboard. Do i need to update my bios or am i good? If so how do i do it?

I used the paste the came with my stock cooler and it was pre applied. When I put my cooler down on my CPU I had to lift it up to line it up and it kinda smeared on my CPU and I had to clean the sides s bit. I figured it was not a big deal. Idk if I should buy thermal paste and re do it and use...

What is a good idle temp for a ryzen 5 1600. I am getting like 35c idle. Also what would be a good idle temp when playing games?

I got my ryzen 1600 with stock cooler. I installed the cpu no problem but im having problems screwing In the wraith spire heatsink that comes with it. Any tips for screwing it in evenly?
