[SOLVED] Do I really need a commander pro?

You can absolutely control fan speed with the motherboard. As mentioned above, you'll need a Lighting Node Pro (at least) to control the RGB on the fans and the 3-pack comes with that.

Question New Build ARGB asus Aura + Corsair accessories, is it possible?

There's JackNET RGB Sync: https://github.com/Fanman03/JackNetRGBSync. You'll still have to have both Aura and iCUE installed. Depending on what you are doing, there are also 3rd party adapters that would allow you to plug your RGB Fan LED Hub into the ARGB header on your motherboard...

Question Sudden Cpu Temp Spike (90c idle)

When you get your replacement, make sure that you power the cooler correctly. These coolers get all of their power from the CPU_FAN header. What the manual neglects to tell you is that you need to set this header to full speed/100% power at all times. Not doing often results in an early death...

    Question ICUE Corsair

The H115i PRO should remember the last setting. You may need to save to the cooler - can't recall; it's been a while. If you have a little SD-card type icon, that'll save to the device. If not, then the settings are automatically saved.

[SOLVED] Controlling Corsair fans with a Z77 motherboard?

No, the SP120s are not PWM, they are DC fans. And the fans that come with the SPEC Delta aren't SP 120's - they are the only 12V analog RGB fans in Corsair's stable. They don't work with iCUE or the rest of the Corsair ecosystem; they just work connected to a 12V RGB motherboard.

Question corsair 570x asus strix rx580 sync rgb

The SP120 - Corsair's first RGB fans - are the odd ducks in the RGB world; they don't use the standard WS2812B protocol. So there's no way at all that you'll ever be able to control them from an Asus motherboard, even with an adapter. You can - with a Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro -...

    Question Corsair Commander pro

Are you using cables from a different PSU? You can't do that. It sounds like you might be trigger short circuit protection, which could be the result of using the wrong cable in the PSU.

    Question Fan spliter for AIO

No, you won't be able to do that. The fans will draw more current than is supported from the cooler's fan controller. Check out the Corsair AIO FAQ at http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=174442

[SOLVED] Alternate to corsair fan hub

The 570X doesn't have a Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro. You won't use iCUE out of the box. The RGB Fan LED Hub (that comes with the case) should have a push-button controller attached to it. Use this to change the lighting on the fans.

    Question Temperature fluctuations and discrepancies

You're comparing apples and oranges. The temperature that you are referencing in iCUE is the temperature for the coolant, not the CPU temperature. So it's related (as apples and oranges, both being fruits with internal seeds, are related) but it's a completely different beastie. You can get to...

[SOLVED] Do I need the Corsair Commander Pro?

RGB is not standardized, not by any stretch of the imagination. For Corsair RGB questions, check out the RGB FAQ at http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880.

    Question Corsair ML vs LL

That's not correct - the LL fans use hydraulic bearings and the ML fans use Magnetic Levitation bearings. The ML fans also have generally higher static pressure at the same RPM. However, the LL fans are darn purdy.

Question Liquid Cooling - Static Pressure or Magnetic Levitation Fans?!

Corsair still has SP fans (RGB, of course). But the Mag Lev (ML) fans offer as good or better static pressure and are much quieter at the same speed. Plus, they will (allegedly) last longer as there's nothing to wear out.

Question H500m, ASUS Aura, & Corsair LL series.

Check out the RGB FAQ at http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880. That will answer all of your Corsair questions. You will have challenges, however, getting RGB from multiple vendors to sync correctly. If the CoolerMaster fans can be control via 3-pin Addressable Aura, there's an...
