Would I get more performance out of a single GTX 880m 8GB or Dual 870m's 6 GB in SLI?

GPU: Dual Geforce GTX 870m's in SLI Processor: 4th Gen Intel i7-4810MQ Ram: 16 GB DDR3

I am going to purchase a new gaming laptop, would I get more power out of a single GTX 880m with 8GB Video Memory or Dual GTX 870m's with 6 GB memory?
