Should i upgrade or wait for the new graphics cards?

So i heard about the new pascal and polaris cards, and i was about to upgrade my gtx 680 to a 970 or even a r9 390 but should i wait for the new cards or upgrade my gpu right now?

i only have enough money to upgrade one thing. Should i upgrade my i5 3570k? or my gtx 680 2gb.
