Question Computer booting to "Enter BIOS" screen, not to desktop

Ok. I turned off the computer and turned it on again - twice - and both times, it booted normally. So, maybe the new battery just needed to engage a couple of times? Anyway, sorted for now. Thanks.:) D.

[SOLVED] "Selected file is not a proper BIOS" - Problems updating ASUS MB BIOS

Windows 10 x64 - running on a desktop I built myself. I have an ASUS X99-PRO/USB 3.1 motherboard. I am running BIOS version 3701, dated 2017/12/01. On the ASUS website (not a great search facility on it, I think) the nearest I can get to my MB code is X99-PRO (without the /USB 3.1 tag). I...

Question NZXT KRAKEN - No supported power supply detected...?

Ps. I should have written that the fans and NZXT light are both working. The CAM app is listing both fan RPM and fan speed. It’s just not detecting any power supply. Should I try installing a previous version of CAM app? Thanks. D.

Question NZXT KRAKEN - No supported power supply detected...?

I recently had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro x64. A few things are not right after it. One is my NZXT KRAKEN water cooler. I have just managed to install the 690LC driver and the yellow flag has gone from device manager. Now the CAM interface is no longer telling me it can't find a driver...

How to increase C: Drive capacity? What can I delete?

Ps. And I've just noticed that Pictures contains all my iPhone images and videos - about 12Gb. Which drive is This PC>Pictures on? If it's the C: drive, I could direct it somewhere else. I have tons of storage on spinning drives. Thanks. D.

How to increase C: Drive capacity? What can I delete?

My C: drive is a 250Gb SSD. I thought when I built this computer that it might be enough, and maybe it will be. Of the 231Gb total on the drive, I now have 83Gb free. The drive is used for nothing but program files. At the moment, the biggest allocations are as follows: Windows: 19Gb...

I accidentally set WordPad as the default program to open .fcrv files. In Windows/Settings/Choose Default Applications by file type, I can see WordPad listed next to .frcv files. How can I reset it so that it asks me to Choose an Application, when I browse to a folder of .frcv files within...

iPhone Back-Up: Some items not transferred to computer...? "Computer not authorised..."

Thanks for the reply. I think that the fault may have been in my Sync settings. In iTunes, I highlighted Music and clicked Sync and then ran the Back Up again. I think it's ok now. But, on a related note.......... Photos: On my computer, in This PC/Pictures, I can see folders listed 2015-10...
