I have a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and a AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz and I run newer games fine. For example, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands on Very High and it's pretty smooth. Just sharing my experiences.
