So i just got an MSI 970 Motherboard because my old Asus M5A97 died due to a surge. This new motherboard is giving me cpu temps around 10 degrees C and speedfan is not recognizing any of the fans. is there any way i can correct this?

im guessing its the mobo, but could a ssd or hdd failure cause it to freeze and make the mobo beep?

when it does fail i have problems with it turning back on for about 30 min after. the system will start up but no video connection and the light on my cpu block is either on, off or flickers.
