Do I really need more RAM? Is getting a new video card (i.e. using Aero) going to drag down my performance? I was hoping a 256MB card would take care of that.

I actually dual boot with XP and Vista, but am switching mainly to Vista now. The system runs very smoothly on what I have now, but I need to replace my dead video card so I figured I might as well get one that is compatible with Aero.
