FIXED Possibly anyway, for some reason both are working fine with steam in offline mode. I only wanted to use single player anyway so this is fine for me. If anyone wants to reply with 'use steam in offline mode' i'll set it as the solution so other people can see it in the future. Thanks...

I'm having the same issue with saints row 4 so updated the title, gat out of hell works fine though as do all my other games. I tried the compatibility mode for 3 and 4 but it still happens.

The pc came monday ready to go, i checked and changed things then did a bench test which showed 0% cpu usage https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/11629909 I've had no issues with other games and when i close the browser which i do while gaming the cpu usage is under 1%

In the menu it's smooth for 5-15 seconds then the screen freezes for 5-15 seconds and this repeats. I tried entering the game to see if it was just a menu issue but it happened on the cut screen then during gameplay too. I have about 30 minutes in game and am yet to even shoot a gun. I tried...
