    Rio600 Memory Upgrade?

Anyone know how to modify the backpack on a Rio600 to upgrade the memory yourself rather than spend $50 on a lousy 32MB backpack on-line?

Windows explorer ties up 99% of CPU

I have an Abit TH7-II RAID motherboard with a pair of WD 100GB hard drives in a RAID0 configuration. Occasionally when I am using Windows Explorer (XP) to look at the files on the Raid array (my D: drive) my computer will start getting really slow even after I close all of my applications...

No Video on this AVI file

I've had this same problem with DIV-x. Is it possible that it's a Div-x file and that you need to download the latest div-x codec? I don't have a URL where to get it but look for it on the web.

    RAID as system disk?

I am building a PC with video editing in mind. I wanted to buy a pair of 80 or 100GB drives for a RAID array. Am I shooting myself in the foot by using these disks as a system disk too? I read that it is recommended to have a dedicated disk for audio and video files that is separate from the...

    RAID with large drives

I am going to buy an Abit TH7II RAID motherboard and want to get a pair of 100GB WD hard drives to pair together for a RAID 0 config. I want to build this system and use Windows XP. I thought I would boot from a floppy that has FDISK and FORMAT on it and format the drives. Can the BIOS handle...
