Try installing dd-wrt on the tplink, then you should be able to change what port it uses for WAN to one of the ethernet ports.

Nah, closed coolers (h100, h80, antec khuler 620.920) dont have any points to let air in/out so liquid doesent escape. had my 620 for 6 months now and it still keeps my cpu at the same temp it did when i got it out the box.

probably a fan of some kind. I noticed with my old 4870 that its fan would whine between 15-60% speed after a year or so of use. stick your ear near and try to isolate the noise. if you can, disable pwm fan controll in bios and allow them to all spin up to 100% to see if it stops

try disabling motion blur, antialiasing and depth of field. the blur may be that your crt is on the way out, i would recomend a new monitor as they are fairly cheap now. a decent LED will set you back about £100. Plus your card should be able to handle 1280x720 quite comfotrably.

the stock paste is fine. i have one in my machine at work and its oc'd to 4ghz on air automaticaly by the motherboard. the paste is ok for stock and minor oc's

genrally you use 2 pci'e for each gpu if there high power ones. so 4 pci'e connectors are for crossfire/sli configurations. semi modular means that the cpu and motherboard connectors are wired by default, but you can pick what cables to connect for hard drives, gpu's and molex powered devices...

this has left me a bit befuddled. sorry i cant really help anymore. try running benchmarks. but if its still not living up to its performance i would personaly re-install windows and check after that.

The cards are backwards compatable. take the lanes and divide by 2 for the performance. a 16x 2.0 slot will perform the same as an 8x 3.0 slot the performance difference will be minimal. im running 2 7950's both on 2.0 slots and there just fine and asus

To be honest, i would recomend a 7950. But its one of those things that we wont know how itl run until the beta comes out. Could run fine on a 7870/7850, or it could run like a slideshow. Due to the fact that bf4 wont be out till christmas, i would be more inclined to wait for the 8 series amd...

looks to be standard microatx. go to your respective order website (scan, overclockers, ebay) and find a case that you like. they all come with instructions. genrally the last thing to take out is always the motherboard.

try running occt and furmark at the same time. if furmark stutters, then its possible that your psu cant handle the load. what kind of fps do you get before the freezes?

is the CPU overclocked? im not 100% sure but i would run a cpu monitor in the background (occt without hitting the "on" button) and see if its constantly at 100%. if so then your cpu is bottlenecking your performance
