So update: After much digging turns out the only way to get DirectX 9 and/or 11 is to download and install them on a Win 7 or 8 OS then upgrade to Win 10 so that the files carry over. Other than that you'll just have to wait until your favorite games get updated and patched for DirectX 12.

I know Win 10 has directx 12 pre installed but a lot of my games (LOL and FFXIV) need 9 and wont run. i attempted to install 9 from the Microsoft website but no dice. Is there anyway to get them working or to install Directx 9 on my Win 10 comp?

I don't know what setting my boot device to PEG means. No I did not uninstall all gpu drivers before dropping in the new card, I didn't hook it up to a monitor. All power cables were plugged in properly. and power supply was made by insignia. And yes I'm running an A6. been meaning to upgrade it.
