[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

Thanks for the clarifications. I'll switch back to default BIOS settings and think about getting an aftermarket cooler. I'm looking at the coolermaster 240 RBG AIO. Is it good? Or should I go for an air cooler?

[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

Okay. So I looked at the clock speeds and found that my CPU was clocked at 4.2 GHz all the time with a core voltage of 1.43v. So I tried disabling PBO in the BIOS, but nothing changed. I'm not exactly sure what PBO does, could someone explain please? Since disabling PBO didn't help I went into...

[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

I'll definitely do the testing today and update the results. By the way, I read the 92 C in HW monitor. I believe it was around 4 GHz. It was pretty late night yesterday so I couldn't test much. I'll do it today and update.

[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try out Ryzen master and update the results. And for the fan, yes I'll try adding one more fan to the top rear.

[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

It's a coolermaster Mb511 case with front grill and 3 intake fans. There's an exhaust fan at the back. All the fans seem to be working, and I'm a bit confused because many people on online forums report similar temperatures on stock cooler, yet many of the reviews that I went through says...

[SOLVED] 92 degrees on Stock cooler- Ryzen 5 3600

Hi. I bought a Ryzen 5 3600 today and paired it with my MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC motherboard. The voltages seem to be fine at around 1.1V, but my temperature under load seems a bit high. It idles at around 45-50 degrees and I tried playing some games for a while ( Half an hour or so ) and the peak...

    [SOLVED] Random shutdowns while gaming

Agreed mate. I guess it has become too old anyways. I went out and got a MWE 650 PSU. I couldn't find a Corsair CX or I'd have bought that one. Thanks to this Corona season every damn store has empty stocks and I have to make do with this one. I ran some tests and voltage on 12V, 3.3V and 5V...

    [SOLVED] Random shutdowns while gaming

I did check CPU and GPU temperatures.. They seemed to be fine. I couldn't find PSU temperature on it. Or am I missing something?

    [SOLVED] Random shutdowns while gaming

I don't know if this has to do with anything that's happening, but I had been gaming everyday for like, literally 5-6 hours, sometimes continuous. Could that have stressed the PSU to an extend that it's too old to handle such load? Also, how do you suggest I check if the PSU is overheating or not?

    [SOLVED] Random shutdowns while gaming

Hi. A couple of weeks back I was gaming, and my PC shut off completely with no warning. Just like what would happen to a PC without UPS backup when power goes off. I had no clue what was happening so I turned it on again and it boot up fine. Again I opened the game (Apex legends, if that makes...

[SOLVED] AMD Ryzen 3 safe temperature

Sorry for replying late. Wasn't around for a while. I tried gaming for 2-3 hours straight. And the fan speed, I let it run in the smart mode. I guess it's around 60-70% at that temperature. Yeah. It's a temporary setup and I'll get the 3600 soon. :)

[SOLVED] AMD Ryzen 3 safe temperature

Well now when I check the temperature during gaming, it maxes out at 76 degrees. Isn't that fine for the stock cooler? I mean I got 85-86 degrees while stressing it with prime95. Under normal circumstances it stays below 80.

[SOLVED] AMD Ryzen 3 safe temperature

Hi. I'm currently running an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 system. I bought it as a temporary CPU, a month ago since I had to wait for the release of Zen2 CPUs. So, I tried overclocking it with the stock cooler and managed 3.7 GHz at 1.3V. I'm totally new to overclocking and stuff, so I was a bit concerned...

[SOLVED] B450 AM4 Motherboard with Ryzen 3rd Gen

That sounds more like me lol. I'm maybe overthinking this. I check out forums, and some say B450 won't be able to handle the 8 core Zen 2 very well. Some say they even overclock a 2700X without any problem on it. So it's kinda mixed opinions. That's what confuses me. I just want to be sue that I...
