    Well guy’s, it turned out to just be the pcie cord I was using that came with the card. I switched it out with the one that came with my psu and it worked like a charm.

    Also, I reset the bios completely and still no results as well as resetting the cmos. So its not a problem within the bios, thank you anyways though. Any input is appreciated.

    Never mind lol, now I understand, thats just a desk behind my pc where I left off the covers and you can see it through the back. It’s nothing actually covering the opening.

    Yes that is the slot i’ve been trying to install it in because thats the only x16 slot, but it usually fits without a problem, although i’m also unsure about the piece of wood you’re speaking of?

    Ok i’ll try hooking it up with a different pcie cord and see if that makes a difference but yeah so far, theres no sign it even supplies power to the gpu at all or enough because it doesn’t seem like anything happens when I try to start the pc. I just here a click and nothing seems to power on...

    I tried your solution as well as a cmos reset but the secure boot was already disabled and I also tried a cmos reset which also had no effect. Also to your other question, I get no out put at all, my pc doesn’t even turn on when the gpu is in, I hear a single click after I press the power button...

    Well i’ve tried the system with a gpu that i’ve tested in another system that I know works and yet the same issue persists so it’s not the gpu thats the issue but I can send a pic of the pc and gpu location
