Nvidia's Jetson TX2 Powers GameFace Labs Standalone Cross-Platform VR Headset

Looking at the specs, 256 Cuda Cores seems a bit anaemic... Wasn't that supposed to be 2560 instead?

AMD Ryzen 2 vs. Intel Coffee Lake: What's the Best CPU Platform?

Didn't they patch Spectre/Meltdown already? The supposed impact was estimated to be up to 35% on some models.

    Best Professional Monitors (Archive)

How can you recommend curved screens for any professional work? Do you really think editing a flat 2D image on a curved surface is a good idea? Not to mention the "bow tie" effect (with the middle of the screen) that messes with your perception. Jesus... Also, why 21:9? Because you do realise...

    Best Professional Monitors (Archive)

2014 was a long-ass time ago. Anything new this year? HDR maybe? Also, 4k on a 24" monitor is a terrible idea. You need at least 32", ideally 40-43". Even at 27" it would be uncomfortable (and that's WITH Windows' crappy scaling).

HTC Permanently Reduces The Vive's Price To $599

What is this "permanently" business? Nothing is "permanent". They'd be stupid to leave it at $600 "permanently". And what is this "wireless" business? Do you have any idea what type of bandwidth frequency (in GHz) would be required to stream content to 2x1440p/90fps screens? You really want a...

Nintendo Of Europe Halts New Nintendo 3DS Production

"The company declined to comment on why New Nintendo 3DS production is ending." Probably because of MagnetPWN? If it's a hardware exploit, there's only two things they could do: new hardware revision or stop manufacturing it, and they chose the latter. It was getting kind of crowded anyway...

Behold, The Return Of The Model F And Its Buckling Spring

You lost me at $325. It looks like a $3.25 keyboard at a yard sale, not $325, wtf. Did they forget to add the decimal point somewhere?

EVGA's GTX 1080 Ti HYBRID FTW3 Will Debut On July 10

"7/10" as in... July 10th or the 7th of October? 7/10... Edit: Oh, "Availability: July 10". Fricken Americans... Everyone else uses dd/mm/yyyy, like normal nations.

Asus Reveals New ROG Q-Dot Display With 4K HDR, 144Hz Refresh Rate, Nvidia G-Sync

How much backlight bleed will it have? Because it seems to me that Asus can't make monitors worth a shit. Nice packaging and paper specs does not a great monitor make. Piss-poor quality check, but hey... at least they have nice packaging for the box it comes in! Have you seen their "ROG Swift...

Steal This Keyboard: Input Club’s K-Type Is On Massdrop

    Super Talent Project X DDR4-3000 16GB Review

"Super Talent", "Project X". lol... Sounds like something a 13 yo came up with. Definitely a strong brand name. "Super Talent" is definitely a brand you can trust! /sarcasm

Eizo Unveils ColorEdge Prominence Monitor With Full HDR, DCI-4K

Those bezels need to be THICKER, tho. THICK bezels. That's how I liek my monitors to have. Thick so I have something to hold on to. Especially if you have two of them side by side... then I just love how WIDE the space between the monitors becomes. It feels great when I move windows from one...

    Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Benchmarked

It needs that much VRAM because of the games has an excessive amount of props, each taking up multiple 2048x2048 or 4096x4096 textures. They kind of went overboard with this one.
