I recently got a very very good deal from the owner of the Strix , I need a new PSU whatever is the case and he offered me a Seasonic Prime Platinum 80+ PSU for around 70$ if I buy them both would cost 500$ alltogether and that PSU is hella expansive in retail.

Another option is an MSI 1080 Sea Hawk X for 460$ but it has only 3 months of warranty which makes me feel its gambling

2060 in my region is so crap only good editions being available are the Strix for more than both mentioned above, and the EVGA XC still more than those 2, but not that much

ATM Im considering an almost Brand new MSI Sea Hawk X for a very good price only problem being is the lack of warranty compared to the 1070 Ti s. What would you suggest? I love that Sea Hawk card but if something happens and im outta warranty im screwed basically.

I would stick with a 1070Ti then, it has 2 years of warranty, if I am really in need of those 10 more fps, I will sell it and buy a 1080, atm 1070 TI for that price and EVGA SC edition is a really good one imo for a 100$ less, is a bargain in Hungary

Any kind of watercooling solutions wouldn't fit my RIG probably, and I have to upgrade my RAM and PSU aswell. Later on in a few months time I might upgrade to 1080 from an 1070 Ti if I find it needed. Right know I'm running the superior iGPU of intel so.

But ATM, and in the near-mid future, 1070Ti is just as sufficient isn't it? I can't see things coming that a 1070Ti couldn't deal with but a 1080 could at this resolution am I right?

is MSI Gaming X 1080 better than the Asus one? in their retail price they differ so much the asus strix one costs 200 bucks more when brand new. Which brand do you recommend? As far as MSI is concerned I havent had a problem with them.

and if it runs everything at those fps numbers which are represented in other benchmark videos on youtube for example, and it doesnt crash, so it wont bottleneck during a benchmark thats the sign of a good working card am I right?

By torture testing , do you mean running benches like 3D mark, Heaven and stuff?
