    After installing new graphics card, computer freezes monitor

    I just installed a EVGA GTX 980 Ti and installed all the latest drivers. Every hour or two the monitor will just freeze black or gray and am unsure what is causing this. Any ideas? EDIT: I also installed additional RAM, but figured this was more of a video card error?

    Thanks for the explanation, I was a little confused what the AE code meant but that cleared it up. My boot drive is listed as a boot drive in the Bios and I did reset my Bios to default settings. I'm just confused because it shows that my it will boot using my HD but it doesn't actually do it...
