    [SOLVED] PC not booting when external HDD is connected ?

    Pc wasn't booting today, not even getting to the bios. I unplugged my external HDD and the PC booted okay. How can an external HDD brick your entire system? It quite amazed me that it wasn't even showing BIOS just a black screen.

    Hi there, For some reason my RAM is appearing as 32 on top but 16 below. Windows also only uses max 16 gb. Any help is appreciated :) Imgur

    studying, web browsing and watching videos. I recommend a chromebook, it's around 200 bucks it's better performance because you cannot install all applications and its alot more durable. 350 just wont get you very far.

    Yes to the first part, just search something for non-modulair "sata power cable" and for modulair "PSU modulair sata power cable".
