I like this test. Yah my FPS increases when I drop res and settings in FH4 And this is a really good point. I humoured myself and chucked FH4 at 2k this afternoon and surprise surprise it still looked great (esp with HDR on, something my old monitor did not have)

And so I take this battle to Google, and it seems that 7700 XTs run £400 in the UK, whereas 7800 XTs run for £450, and 4070s for £500... That clearly seems to favour the 7800 XT in terms of value looking at the benchmarks above ! I think I may be onto a winner here but will watch this space...
