    i5 4690k or i5 6600k

If you look at Digital Foundary.... they did comparisons between the 4690k and 6600k in combo with a titan x and found the 6600k produced upwards of 10%+ fps depending on the game. They said in games such as gta5 the 6600k compared well with the devils canyon i7 4790k

Which motherboard would you choose and why?

Asus Z170I PRO GAMING mITX or the GIGABYTE GA-Z170N GAMING 5 mITX. Will be going into the new NZXT Manta case. Will be used for gaming, web browsing and general day to day things. Kraken x61 watercooler, EVGA 650 PSU, GTX970 already purchased along with the 6600K processor. If not those two...

    GTX960 4GB vs R9 380 4GB

Mostly it will be for future Battlefield games, Batman, F1 2015, besides a load more like sniper elite and gta. I game off a 22" 1080p monitor and i'm quite happy to stick with that for the time being so 1440p is pointless for the next few months and years.

    GTX960 4GB vs R9 380 4GB

You see this is my point, there's so much conflicting information out there and i've yet to see a video where they compare the GTX960 vs R9 380 and come out with a clear winner. As for the suggestion that the 290 is the way to go... it draws far too much power and the temperatures are just too...

    GTX960 4GB vs R9 380 4GB

Overall taking benchmarks and performance together which is the better card for 1080p gaming... Ideally 60 frames per second. I currently have an i5 2500k?

    4GB GTX960 vs 3GB R9 280x...?

I know about the difference in terms of specifications but i have yet to see a comparison between the 4GB version of the 960 and the 280x. All comparisons i've seen are between the 2GB version. So which non reference card would you buy for gaming at 1080p for the next 5 years?? I currently...

    Half of ram showing up?

Try switching the ram around and see if you get the same result, if you do then your motherboard has a problem. If you switch them around and the bios isn't showing the ram in the second slot then it's your ram.

    "upgrade" to new i5?

In terms of real world performance you probably won't notice much of a difference between those two CPUs. I would personally wait and save some money up until you can buy a new cpu/motherboard combination.
