    i am between getting a combo of the 2600 and the rtx 2070 OR the 8600k and the rtx 2060? which would be better (i likely wont be playing games on ultra and instead high leading me to believe that the latter of the 2 will be better as the gpu wont have such a heavy load and will push more frames)

    i have opted for exactly that but with a ryzen 2600 and a b450-f gaming to save money and have got the whole thing down to £1161, how well will the 2600 fare at 4.2ghz when paired with the 2070 at 1080p?

    Question Spending a lot of money to upgrade my monitor, will it improve or worsen my experience?

    1080p may look a bit strange and pixelated as you are going from a pixel density of 157 pixels per inch to 90 pixels per inch but you will likely get used to it, i would also instead reccomend a 144hz monitor as the 1070 wont get anywhere close to 240fps, so instead i would reccomend the asus...
