    Over Gigabit Connection

Hello! Long story-short, I am upgrading to gigabit internet, and potentially over gigabit. As such, even if I only get the 1 Gigabit, I want to future proof and not have to buy more equipment again in the near future, as I imagine I'll be upgrading to 2 Gbps. I know I'll need a 10Gbe network...

    Looking For Advice

So I'm trying to find advice on what to do with my holiday bonus. Here's my dilemma. I want both an Asus 980 Ti Strix and an Asus Swift monitor (the PG278Q). The bonus gives me enough currently to buy one or the other, so my question is, should I buy the monitor first, or the card? Currently I...

    Help adding ram please.

is the 780ti an overkill for this build?

650w is fine. You can see in the top right estimated load is 463w. Nvidia's recommended minimum is 600w, so a 650w is sufficient. You could even run 550w and it'd be okay (but I wouldn't recommend it). However, if you really want to get a better PSU anyway, I'd recommend this one here...

is the 780ti an overkill for this build?

It depends on what kind of games you're playing. A 770 won't run AC4 on max settings at a constant 60 fps even @ 1080p. The 770 is more than sufficient for most games, but the 780 or the 780 Ti will help bridge the gap in the rest of them. I just got a 780 Ti today (which replaced my 770) and...

    Asus GTX 780 TI OC2

Yep. Sounds like the card got paper weighted. I know that's probably not what you want to hear.. :( Though, unless you were actually updating the BIOS, I'm not sure why that would've happened. Was it just a driver update? That's different than updating the BIOS. Did you have any physical contact...
