Iam looking for a decent board for gaming. I have a 12900k, considering ddr5 since I can get it at a reasonable price. But my question is, is the msi z690-a pro ddr5 board good or junk for a 12900k and gaming ? I wanted yo go gigabyte but I'm not sure how there boards are with ddr5...

tried gskill 3600 and had crashes with xmp on. went back to my crucial and all was fine. wanted to try some different ram for kicks but seems like board is way to finicky.,

Ok so for 200$ is the b550 tomahawk and the gaming edge wifi good?

Ok how would the x570 tomahawk compare to the b550 unify x,? Both are 270$ , would both handle ddr4 3600 stable with xmp setting? Thanks

Well I mean, it seems like there isn't any good x570 for around 200-220 unless I'm wrong . I'd prefer to stay around from the intel 225v nic since there notorious for issues. Also which board were you saying is pretty solid I listed 2 boards .. thanks

I need help choosing a good b550 board around 200-220$ us. It needs to handle 5900x and ddr4 2x16gb at 3600 xmp profile ... I've seen the asus b550f , and the msi b550 edge wifi and also the tomahawk . Although the asus has notorious LAN card issues.. anyone shed some light on this so I can find...

if i got the unify x.. would ddr4 3600 2x16gb work and most likely be stable with xmp or docp enabled? thanks

Considering possibly getting a b550 auros pro board . Seen lots of negative reviews on them from Newegg and only having 3 stars due to people saying they were failing after 3 months of use. Anyone shed some light on this? Thanks
