Thanks for your input, I got a bit nervous as both cards' availability was drastically dropping (8 sold cards in 1.5h according to Amazon, 6 remained), so I just ordered the 1080 advanced, didn't want to be in the position in a few years, where I miss a few percent performance to be happy. Now...

Another thing I came up with now, is a little thing about the GPU. As I mentioned, I planned on running the Strix 1080, as it's TI counterpart is still about 980-1000€ (Germany) while the 1080 Advanced sits at around 620€. Is the 1080 worth the premium over the 1070ti, which sits at 'only' 490€...
