Well, interestingly enough it did work. I've tried restarting it in normal mode just for the heck of it, and for some reason it worked as well after that. What happened? It's working fine all of the sudden!

I've actually solved it! I've done a selective startup, and came to the conclusion that one of my softwares were causing the problem from the background. Thank you for your help though!
