Your ram is actually ment to run 7-7-7-20 @1.65v @1600mhz Try running it at 1333mhz 7-7-7-20 @1.53v (still nice tight timings) run prime95 or better memtest86+ to check for stability. If not fully stable then loose timings (for example 7-8-7-24)

officially athlon II X2 270 only supports 1066 but it could go higher. its a deneb chip so it should go to 1333mhz with no problem and you could do 1600mhz

What model and brand ram is it?
