Question Seemingly weird Ryzen 5 Voltages

That's actually pretty interesting, though I hadn't read anywhere else about boost working best up to 60c, but that would make some sense since in games it seems to top out around 60c I'm using MX-6 with the stock aluminum/copper core heatsink though I'll probably get a compatibility kit for my...

Question Seemingly weird Ryzen 5 Voltages

After doing some digging I'll probably just leave it alone, the motherboard is a GA-AB350M-DH3 with the most recent bios As far as cooling goes I'm using the stock aluminum AM4 cooler with the copper core, with MX-6, as of an hour of testing on it tops out at 74.8c on small fft, the 5c...

Question Seemingly weird Ryzen 5 Voltages

I just upgraded to a Ryzen 5 1600x and was curious about the voltages I'm seeing in HWmonitor At idle I'm seeing 1.4-1.46v, but under load with P95 I'm seeing 1.2v, temps are a tad high at idle 40c-48c though under full load at 4.1ghz it doesn't go above 70c Everything in the bios is stock...

News Two Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPUs burned out on X870 motherboards — vendor investigates the Ryzen burnout issues

Yet another reason to never buy MSI Also if you have a CPU burn out you should never put a new one in the same motherboard because it's most likely the MB was the culprit, if the CPU didn't just take it out

News Power supply maker yanks hairdryer advice for melting-prone 16-pin GPU connectors — Seasonic quietly deletes suggestion that PC builders use a hair...

I'm left laughing every single day when I read something new about GPUs like wtf happened? R9 295X2s consumed almost 600watts before being overclocked and never had melting issues and any issues with power connections for that matter Never had cracking PCBs either Meanwhile you people are...

The five worst AMD GPUs of all time: So bad we can't forget them

The R9 290x section isn't accurate, according to passmark a 980 barely beats out my R9 290 and it's not even an X and is pretty clearly being bottlenecked by my 4690k@4.8 So no a 780ti or 970 aren't much faster than the R200 series, they're even at best

Hi I've got an XFX R9 290 DD, it's fans are dying and giving me major throttling issues I was just wondering if someone could point me in a direction, to either replace the fans somehow or find a way to connect an AIO to it if that's even possible thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me

PC wont boot when new ram is installed

And if I put the old ram and the new ram in at the same time it works fine with no blue screening So it must be something in the ram times the old ram forces on the new ram in the bios
