PC wont boot when new ram is installed

I bought new ram for my PC and the fans and lights come on but doesnt boot
When I put the old ram back in it boots right up with no issues
I have tried resetting the cmos, bios and changing the dimm slot they are positioned in.
I have an fx-6300 and a 78lmt-usb3 mother board with a gtx 650ti
I had 2 2gb adata sticks at 1333 mhz and I bought g skill Ares 2x4gb sticks at 1600mhz
Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have to RMA them.

I tested the ram in another computer and it booted right up

That board only takes up to 1333 Mhz memory, that is probably the issue.

But for kicks, does the other computer boot when you put in the (2) 2GB sticks?

Yes it does and I loaded the fail safe defaults in the bios and it booted and now I'm just having issues with it blue screening every 15 minutes

Do you have the latest BIOS? Might be the sticks just don't want to play in this mobo, could try setting up manually to 1333 (and would add about + 0.05 to both the DRAM and the CPU/NB voltage

i tried to set the memory to 1333mhz and bumped the voltage from 1.5 volts to 1.550 volts and it still blue screens
i would try to update my bios but i dont know how to do so

any chance it is just windows
or that a fresh install would fix the issue

It's a hardware thing if it won't boot, it's not even getting to Win, if not going to update the BIOS, try clearing CMOS then install the DRAM

No it started booting after I reset the bios
but after about 10-15 mins it blue screens
and i didnt know if a fresh instal of windows would fix the error
btw the blue screen says
System_service_exeption

ive narrowed it down to the motherboard
the intel computer that i mentioned earlier has no blue screen issue

And if I put the old ram and the new ram in at the same time it works fine with no blue screening
So it must be something in the ram times the old ram forces on the new ram in the bios
