    Looks like I didn't get the edit up in time lol 400 is how much I pay for and how much most of the computers in the house get close to, depending on use. Usually in 2 to 3 hundreds at least.

    The amount I listed is the amount I pay for and the amount the other computers in the house get to various degrees depending on their hardware. When I plugged the usb adapter into a different PC, I got close to that. Edit: Actually, not quite, I pay for 400 even.

    So I'm on windows xp service pack 3, have a usb Netgear a6100 WiFi Adapter (which I have tested on another computer and gets much higher speeds) plugged into usb 2.0. According to netgear genie and the wireless network connection information, the network I'm connected has a speed of 433.0 Mbps...
