Sure, I got mine oc'ed to 4.4 GHz on stock cooler @1.28 run pretty fine temps are around 80 's at full load and 60's wwhile gaming. PS runing on a MSI b85g43 gaming. So a cheap and non Z mobo can get a nice overclock.

i have the same cpu and a msi b85-g43 gaming MoBo stock cooler, im on 1.275v @ 4.4 Ghz without problem but the temps are on mids 80´s when full loaded with AIDA 64 or Intel XTU, i think i havent any room for improvment, are normal that high temps at just 1.275?

And how about to use the r9 270x it will be work done with my cuurent setup?
