Different speeds / frequencies sometimes causes problems. Depending on the motherboard two things can happen, 1. The high frequency RAM slows down to match the slowest stick or 2. The modules will not be acceptable by your board together and it will declare memory failure

Could be an overheating issue.

Well if you move your mouse around and it comes back maybe it does not freeze but goes into screen saver? Try setting your screen saver to none and see if t stops..

Does it Shut completely down or restarts on its own?

Did you try another Browser. Firefox Maybe?

If it is one program maybe it need re-installing. Also chrome uses alot of RAM when viewing multiple tabs so maybe you need more. Do you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows?

Have you tried unistalling & re-installing the drivers that came with the CD?

It started working well again for now. When it happens I'll check.

Does your PSU have a Voltage setting in the back? Ensure it has the proper voltage setting for your country. Also make sure the pug in the back is not loose.

When it first started happening around the end of october i re-installed windows thinking it was that. It worked well then started again. I cleaned it out thinking it was overheating, worked great for about a week the started again. I use Avast anti virus with comodo firewall.
