So in the last couple of days, my computer has completely locked up. I'll be in the middle of something and the it just stops responding. No error message, no BSOD, no event logs, it just locks up, and only a hard reset works to get it on again. The only things that were going on at the time...

How did you disable ads and remove cookies?

I know it uses it, but i can't recall it being this different. Granted it's a bit colder in my room at the current time, but usually the gpu sits at a little bit higher or lower then the cpu (cpu is sitting at 28c). Running Mbam right now.

So I recently noticed that my graphics card (780) starts to get 10c warmer when I have a skype call start up, and it will stay that way until skype has been shut down. Any idea why it might be doing this?

Every now and then I hear this noise that sounds a bit like a squeal or squeak that lasts for 1-3 seconds. it doesn't happen often but it has me worried that something is going to bust on me. anyone have a clue what the noise might be?

I just tried putting on headphones, and the noise comes through here as well while under load

no, I don't think so.. it only becomes noticeable when I'm playing some games, like crysis on full settings. it does seem to stop after v-sync has been enabled though.

So I've been hearing this odd buzzing noise (sounds electrical) for a bit of time now after doing my pc build, and I'm almost certain it's the psu now. it only seems to happen when the system is under load. is there any way to be sure it's the psu, and if it is, is it something I should replace...

So i recently built my pc and have been a bit worried about my temps. According to HWMonitor, I get about 29c-30c on idle and hit 65c after running prime95 for 15-20 min. Are these temps ok?
