Skype making GPU run warmer?

So I recently noticed that my graphics card (780) starts to get 10c warmer when I have a skype call start up, and it will stay that way until skype has been shut down. Any idea why it might be doing this?

skype uses the graphics card too. i would run malwarebytes just to be safe though.

I know it uses it, but i can't recall it being this different. Granted it's a bit colder in my room at the current time, but usually the gpu sits at a little bit higher or lower then the cpu (cpu is sitting at 28c). Running Mbam right now.

and skype has been causing stuttering issues and operating systems of late. when i am on a video call it makes my computer stutter i fixed it somewhat but it is still there everyonce in a while, i went into skype and disabled the adds and the cookies and it seemed to help.

How did you disable ads and remove cookies?

under tools go to options then under privacy there is the options at the bottom to disable ads and cookies and clear the cookies too

did malware bytes come back clean? if it did i would just uninstall skype and reinstall it, maybe it is just running to much at once skype is a resource hog
