its not exactly straight forward but yes you should specifically switch to GPU renderer within maya (research) and get new nvidia gpu. Render times will be much faster tho you have to watch out for VRAM (4GB for GTX 980)

titan z is old generation gpu, x is all the rage these days, for 4k gaming even they say... more gpus you have in SLI worse gaming experience you will have, everything starts "tearing".

i recommend fractal define R5 for a case and their kelvin s36 or s24 cooler to get with the theme

SSD: samsung 850 evo basic 250GB - best in class water cooling i'd take fractal kelvin s36 because why not (also very good) case for water cooling: fractal define S (or r5) because spacious and looks kewl id take 2x2tb hard disks cause you can RAID them or if one fails at least you wont lose...

if you are already going balls-out, why not take gtx 980, or while we are at it, isnt AMD better at mining than nvidia? take 290x or wait a little for 390. Also, I recommend fractal kelvin s36 to cool CPU and fractal define S for pc case

yes like every ssd out there it wears out over time... 10 years or so i guess, but those 2TB work like every other hard disk

actually, I have 2tb sshd, its around 180 MB/s read speed normally but if you use same data 3-4 times it copies it to SSD part and gets much better speeds. So you get best of both worlds i guess. Also, once SSD part "wears out" entire disk wont die, just wont use ssd part.

you dont "need" intel.. i3 has 2 cores and fx6300 has 6 cores for lower price + just stick 970 on there no problems

CPU is overkill by far, take better graphic card instead

corsair will work if you dont overclock anything but double check on required power pins for gpu and if psu has it
