Well... I did manage to get an old P166 up to 333Mhz.. without a heatsink... had to use a cooling spray.. but it seems that I fried the processor... But anyway.. I had another P166.. and I'm only getting it to a mere 250/266Mhz.. It's pretty stable with a decent heatsink... but could this be...

The Hercules 4500 board looks really interesting... I currently own a Voodoo5 5500, and would I gain anything by switching to a Herc board (and use a V2 pci board for older glide games) 3Dfx will never die... just the staff of NVidia when I charge at 'em with a machinegun...
