Sounds like psu or memory issue.Up memory voltage to manf reccomened max in bios.Flash bios to latest.Run stress prime 2004 orthos.

Thats a loaded question.I am not a fan of sli or crossfire at this time, unless you run your resoultion above 1600x1200 with all eye candy cranked up.

I switched from a 3700(2750mhz) to a 4800(2808mhz).In games i do have a very slight freeze at times.Not often.Is it worth $300 to update if mostly you game.I do not think so.If money is not an issue,by all means an upgrade is an upgrade.If money is tight,i would wait to you build a new rig.

I understand that.I removed nero from my system and the cd/dvd drives worked fine.My issue was the similar to yours.

What burning program are you using?Had an older version of nero that would do the same on my rig.Updated version,no problems.

Normal.Head on over to tech power up and grab the latest ATI tool.It will allow you to adjust fan speeds as you wish.
