    Hi, would 1600Mhz present this issues? Or a Low Voltage RAM? Because I think it's the low voltage ram the one that gives issues.

    Could it be that the RAM is JEDEC 1.35 and the notebook can't work with 1.35V RAM nor tell the RAM to be working with 1.5V?

    That's not entirely true, I've upgraded my GPU from an AMD HD5600 to a Nvidia 1060GTX, my RAM from 8 to 16 and even my SSD from an HDD to a Samsung 970M.2 And I still have managed to avoid any fresh installs, without impact in performance. But that, of course, is if you know what you're doing.

    Buddy, this may come down to laptop HDD spinning speed, you didn't specify but your old HDD may have been 7200rpm , whereas laptop HDD are USUALLY 5600rpm, that can cause a LOT of lag and stutter on demanding games. SSD is a great investment, don't go for a Samsung EVO, any cheap SSD can work...
