Most likely no. I am saving up to build a mid-range PC for a simracing rig, and will mostly likely stick to aircooling for now. I'll move my 212 evo to that build, and get a NH-D15 for my maintower... if everything goes to plan ahaha

Well, I went and put my old 212 evo on and my temps are fine. I used prime95 to stress test and it never went over 74C. It seems the unit had just gone bad.

The Cooler is about 3.5 years old now. I'll check here in a little bit. What should I be looking for when I remove the waterblock?

It general a slow build up, but just entering game in the new COD gets my temperature up to 77C - 79C then builds to 80C's instantly. THough as I am saying that, I just turned the fans on ICUE to the "Extreme" setup, and guess what, my temps only hit 81C in COD with a stream open in chrome...
