I MAY have found a solution I turned of USB selective suspend and also fast startup and so far I have been able to successfully shutdown 3 times without it hanging, I will post back in a couple days to update Thanks a lot for the help hopefully it is sorted now

Hi Dashman9000 Thank you for your answer, I downloaded and ran ccleaner and it did find a lot ( over 100 ) things wrong and fixed all of them, unfortunately my pc is still hanging on shutdown ( have waited about 5 full minutes - used stopwatch ) and still says shutting down with little dots...

Hello guys and girls unfortunately I am having an issue with my gaming pc ( sorry if this is in the wrong section I don't know where it should go ) So... Every now and again ( 6-7 out of 10 times ) when I go to shutdown I get a window pop up it says...

Ah ha!!! Thank you just goes to show how much of a noob I am (and NO math skills). Would you recommend that I upgrade my Cpu to the i7 6700k because I would like this computer to be able to kinda do anything I throw at it and I do enjoy video/music editing and even designing games on unreal...
