Did you have the Legacy version on the external ssd. Also it might help if you post which laptop. I am downloading the Enhanced version onto a T7 at present, so I'll run some tests. Might help for comparison.

Question MRT found 9k files infected ??

Usually the number of infected files it displays while running are fragments of files left behind. It shows none at the finish as I'm presuming the tool removed them .

Question Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones have poor sound quality ?

I think that's partly it, having the app for the headphones. I'm using some Sony X5's and I set up graphic equaliser, etc with app. I'm using a usb bluetooth transmitter and they sound as good as my wired headphones.

Question Speakers and headset at the same time?

Yes that would do it, there's also a much smaller version which is called a Jack plug.(costs a few of whatever currency) I know, I've got so many devices and ways of connecting them externally. There is a way of setting these things up in PC so you can have headphones and speakers controlled...

Question Speakers and headset at the same time?

The simplest way is a 2-1 (3.5mm) audio connector which you can plug both speakers and headphones into. You could also find a passive monitor controller with the right connections for you. I've got a cheap one with only RCA inputs.

Question How to improve a recently deteriorated WiFi situation

It might be worth researching powerline adapters more. That does seem excessively expensive. Especially as you can get stuff sent from other countries. I use them all over my home and they are as good as the wired ethernet. Here they cost about £50 for 2 and transfer up to 1000mbps. Also easy to...

Question WH-1000XM4 choppy sound on computer??

I'd recommend a bluetooth transmitter. I had the same problem with my Sony's but it's the bluetooth transmitter on MB that's the problem. Also the USB bluetooth transmitter(Zexmte with dual antenna) gives out a much better range and quality of sound than my phone.

Question Need some audio advice - Bluetooth - PC - Audio Quality - Recommendations.

I think DVD audio is at least as good as CD audio if not better. I'm not sure about this, I set the EQ on the phone Sony app and then use the headphones on my PC. I'll check if EQ doesn't work on PC. It may be that your hearing is more acute. I mean the wired Audio Technica's probably are...

Question Need some audio advice - Bluetooth - PC - Audio Quality - Recommendations.

I'm using the Sony XM5's now and they sound great for music and gaming. Why do you say you're only getting DVD quality? If I go into W10 Sound> Advanced>it shows 16 bit CD quality. Also on the Sony app I can change the EQ to suit me. I've got various bluetooth headphones and some wired...

Question Microphone recordings are either too quiet or with annoying noise ?

That DAC should do the job, it's just a matter of testing it. I've got the earlier Creative DAC which I use as a spare. So I'm assuming you don't have an internal soundcard or a direct microphone input to you PC. I haven't tried this with my smartphone but it should be possible to record sound...

Question Microphone recordings are either too quiet or with annoying noise ?

I think the only thing you can do is follow the audio signal starting at your DAC, check settings and connections, then check any software settings, Windows Sound settings. Also by elimination, try without DAC. It all depends on your equipment and set up.
