Question Can washing machine/dryer vibrations damage a pc?

It is highly unlikely, but you can take measures if it makes you feel better. You can get what are called "squash ball feet" and attach them to the case. They are popular for 3D printers to not transfer vibrations into other items in the room. Most of the time, you need to 3D print them...

Question Just got Fiber. Am I getting what I paid for, it seems pretty slow ?

You need to test direct to the modem, no other hardware in between.

    Question Probability of fried GPU?

Its a tough guess, but it *might* be fine. The PSU should have the necessary protections that if a failure happened on the SATA rail, it shouldnt cause any damage to the 12v rail (PCIe). It is highly likely it just fried the motherboard, RAM is a concern but I think a single component failure...

Question Lacking temp sensor header - workarounds?

I dont see any specific need to monitor fluid temperatures past "because I can". You hardware will react accordingly to a failed cooling system, first by downclocking and then by shutting down.

    Question Gen 5 NVME Motherboards

What sort of workload are you expecting that you think Gen5 would provide any sort of benefit? Stacking numbers on paper means nothing if your use case doesent take advantage of it. Gaming is an example of a workload that does not greatly benefit from unnecessarily high storage speeds.

Question Faulty display with red tint

Likely not something an average user is going to be able to fix. 8 years is certainly a solid run, Id look into a new monitor.

Question Can I paint my ram?

Should be fine as long as you dont physically damage anything. RAM heatspreaders are primarily for looks anyway.

    Question my documents folder missed

When you hit cut, the files are removed from their original directory and placed into a temporary location (clipboard). By powering off your laptop, this temporary location was cleared. NEVER use "Cut" for important files, only copy. You can then remove the files later if you wanted to. You can...

    Question Undervolt through MSI Afterburner

All you are doing is adding what is essentially a performance cap on the GPU, which will certainly bring temps down. It wont cause any harm to your GPU whatsoever, but its not comparable to undervolting.

Looking for Very Sensitive mic that is near human ear distance and low noise detection.

The problem you are going to run into is high sensitivity and directionality. Picking up a pen landing on a pillow would be easy enough with a parabolic reflector or shotgun style mic (look at guides for recording birding vocalizations). However, you are going to get extremely narrow "width" on...

    Question SD vs HD TV

Generally speaking, you just need to start watching UHD content if you want UHD quality. A big portion of the push to UHD (and beyond) involves streaming, blurays, etc. The market is not really concerned with broadcast content these days.

Question SSD Not Fitting Into Laptop Slot

Just a guess, but it looks like you are trying to install the SSD flat, M.2 SSDs go in at an angle then push down. https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/J8YnYgBzMRv7t8vSHNmggE.jpg

Looking for Very Sensitive mic that is near human ear distance and low noise detection.

You are going to need to be more specific with your end goal and budget, as each approach is going to be different. If you want directional hearing like human ears, you can get one of those microphones built like human ears (popular for ASMR). If you want multidirectional, you can look into...

Question Gaming PC for dusty home?

Either move the fans yourself to create positive airflow (which only helps so much), or add dust filters to all vents, not just the intake. That said, you are going to have to clean the PC regularly, positive airflow or not.

Question Is it safe to have subwoofer playing next to aio?

It should be fine. The concern with air bubbles is air slowly leaking in (or coolant leaking out), not bubbles caused in the existing fluid by disturbances.
