What type of 6800 is it? What did you use to softmod the card? In my opinion yes it is worth getting something like the NV5, keep my card cool :) Are you using Rivatuner and coolbit together? What version of forceware drivers are you using... maybe we can figure this out if you fill in the blanks

So you want to have your desktop show up on all three devices correct? I have done this with one monitor and on TV, and to tell you the truth when it is on a old CRT tube TV it looks like crap.... I would just avoid this in all reality, but you need to do this then I would invest in a better...

Yea when I go into the nvidia panel the throttle back temp is around 120+ or something like that.... are you using stock cooling on that Card? I dont think that I have ever seen temps over 65 or so on my card..... but I am in a basement (which is cooler by nature), plus I lapped the crap outta...
