I also tried connecting it to a SATA port on my desktop - the system did not even boot. Got stuck on "detecting storage".

Unfortunately, the docking station did not read it today, even though I could hear some spinning. Tried DMDE as well, it does not show up under the physical devices. I have already ordered the above docking station (for disks upto 10TB), should be here in the next few days. Will update if it is...

Hello, I have a seagate 5TB external HDD. Two days ago, it would not power up. It was working fine about 5 days ago. I checked the power adaptor on another different drive from western digital and the adaptor works. So, the issue seems to be with the hdd. Can something be done to revive it...
