Update: I connected the pc to the tv (hdmi cable), turn it on just once, shut it down and connected the monitor back in the same way it was connected. Since then the issue never happened again.

Bro, that's a good pc, but if you want to upgrade something, just upgrade the processor. For gaming you don't need to upgrade everything. A 9700k is perfectly fine for gaming and it would last for a few more years.
