Question Lenovo ThinkCentre M710s Intel core i5-7400 No display

Has the monitor input selection set to displayport? VGA to dp or hdmi adapters are not very good, stick with DP. What are the instructions on how to get into the bios? The Lenovo forums may help. Or, try to boot from a usb stick with memtest on it.

    Question AMD 7800X3D or 9800X3D?

Buy the better product if your wallet permits. The extra cash hurts for a little while. The second guessing will be with you for much longer.

Question What do I risk if I buy a case I love knowing I won't be able to afford parts for a new build for a while?

What is the make/model of the case you covet? The big danger is that you will find a better case launched later. More likely in the SFF world, you may not be able to fit the components you currently want in the case. In a year or two, new and better price/performance products will emerge...

Your ram is low profile, probably about 34mm tall. RGB and higher spec ram may be taller. There is a notch on the cooler to fit ram. But usually, you need to move the front fan up a notch to clear the ram. Probably not a problem.

    Question update on pc

CPU-Z will identify the make/model of your motherboard, cpu and ram. The psu, you will need to look at the data plate. The CM HAF 500 is a nice case, but I don't think it can mount a dvd drive.

    Question update on pc

First of all, your pc will not die when W10 support runs out. You will simply not get new features. Is your pc performance otherwise satisfactory? Do you have a budget? List the make/model of all of your parts, it is likely that many can be reused. All that said, life is too short to have a...

Build Advice PC that can run Monster Hunter Wilds - - my first time building a PC ?

I am generally against pre builts. They are built to make a profit and may skimp on the quality of parts. For example, in the listing it names a generic 850w psu. Mo mention of the brand of motherboard. It will be the cheapest B650 available. On a pre built, what do you need to do if you...

Build Advice PC that can run Monster Hunter Wilds - - my first time building a PC ?

AIO is still really air cooling. The difference is where the heat exchange takes place. In general, a twin tower 135mm air cooler has about the same cooling capacity as a 280 aio. AIO is a bit more difficult to install. Mainly because you need to find a location for the radiator that still...

Build Advice PC that can run Monster Hunter Wilds - - my first time building a PC ?

Your list is reasonable. Some thoughts: 1) Verify that your ram kit is explicitly supported on the motherboard ram QVL list or on the ram vendor supported list for your cpu/mobo combo. If there is one constant issue I see with ryzen , it is in the area of ram compatibility. 2) Your...

    Question Will A E3 1270 V6 (i7 7700) Bottleneck A RTX 2070

There is no such thing as "bottlenecking" If, by that, you mean that upgrading a cpu or graphics card can somehow lower your performance or FPS. A better term might be limiting factor. That is where adding more cpu or gpu becomes increasingly less effective. By now, 7700 users are looking at a...
