    For amd cpu's you 'd better not surpass 60 c on the cores or 70 c on the socket. Also v core should be about 1.5V max.

    You should gain nothing from a gpu overclock with those temperatures you are running at. There must be something wrong with your gpu or drivers. Do you have good airflow in your case?

    I guess nothing will help. My r9 280x achieves better scores in unigine heaven (this benchmark does not stress the cpu at all). There must be something wrong with your gpu or drivers. Me 280x gets aroound 900 points in heaven.

    280x is the best perfomer of them all but it needs a good psu as well. I would go with either it or 960.

    If apm mode is disabled, the cpu should not downclock. Also, turbo mode is disabled automatically when apm mode is disabled.

    Do not disable cool and quiet. Then your cpu will always run at max speed, even when it is now used. My 8320 is at 4.7 ghz, sabertooth r2.0, and I have it enabled. It has never messed up with my oc.

    The gains to a 6700k from 4790k are substantial at best. Only when going with ddr4 ram you are going to see big improvements, which is currently expensive/pricier than ddr3. 6700k is worth it, but not now. Maybe when the prices go down. Εven a 4770 should be enough.

    7 to 15 frames out of 100 is in no way a demolishion. These as well are not benchamarks but a single game. There is even no reference to the type of ram the skylake cpu uses. 5820k is a much better choice and is worth the extra cash. 6700k is still new and expensive.

    Yes, the 1600 mhz on your ram is actually 800x2. Cpu Z always shows half the mhz.

    ddr is dual datarate ram. hence 800mhz x2 = 1600 mhz

    If it does drop, this could cause stuttering. Anyway, I cannot send you any link, as I do not know about prices where you live. (here in greece the cpu price only, surpasses your budget) I think other guys will be willing to help you. :-)

    If you are in the mood, you could download and run OCCT. This should show if your cpu runs at max frequency and if your oc is stable. If it does run at max though, and you want to have no bottleneck, you sould buy intel. Preferably i5 4690 or better
