overclocked fx6300 temps

Hi all,

Ive read up on this alot, however id still like an answer for exactly my pc and temps, i have just overclocked my fx6300 (3.5ghz -----> 4.3ghz) and i was wondering what are good temperatures for it..... whilst underload playing games such as gta 5, dayz, csgo i reached from 55-60 degrees CELSIUS....idles at about 27-30degrees.... so i was just wondering at what temperature should i start to be concerned at? thanks in advance

As long as it doesn't hit 80 degrees C you're fine.

As a rule of thumb, I prefer not to allow my CPU go beyond 70c. As you seem to be doing well at 60c max.

For amd cpu's you 'd better not surpass 60 c on the cores or 70 c on the socket. Also v core should be about 1.5V max.

That depends on the AMD CPU...

Phenom II x4 8XX Series -> 71'C
Phenom II x4 9 Series 95W -> 71'C
Phenom II x4 9 Series 125/140W -> 62'C
Phenom II x6 1035T/1045T(new released)/1055T 95W -> 71'C
Phenom II x6 1055T (125W) 1065T 1075T 1090T 1100T -> 62'C
FX8120/FX8150 (BULLDOZERS) -> 61'C
FX6100/FX4100 -> 70'C

I could not find a specific entry for max temp on other FX CPU's.
