760 is plenty of power for MMO's and DotA2. 760 is also a bit better perforance per dollar, as theres a bit of diminishing returns starting on cards over around 200 usually (ranges from $100-300 depending on current deals).

Most likely a CPU bottleneck, from the benchmarks ive seen AMD's cpu' limit cards like the 680 in even older games like WoW at high fps like around 100. If you are looking for 120+ fps youll most likely need to switch to a ivy or sandy bridge OC'd CPU.

Yes they will work together, no that gpu wont bottleneck the cpu and yes the PSU is plenty enough to handle everything. Welcome :)

Also if you play or plan to play borderlands 2 get the 660, it can do physx which is AMAZING in borderlands 2, once you play with physx you cant go back, at least with that game.

You guys are forgetting that CPU also plays a large role in loading times for games. I dont have exact numbers but in the times before SSDs in certain games where everyone would load at the same time the load times directly matched CPU speeds.

With that GPU it's difficult to say, id say more likely not be able to.

The cards with the fans that dont kick out the air out the back of the card are actually usually much quieter and cooler. Examples are asus's gigabyte's and galaxy's.

I recently got a 670 to run borderlands with physx on high, switched from a 6950. The 6950 would drop to like 5 fps in large fights with physx on, while the 670 is able to maintain decent frames in large fights it does struggle in those really big fights in certain areas, dipping down to 30 or...

64 is not too hot.

The gigabyte has better cooling and is quieter.

6850 is quite a bit better.

At that resolution the 7850 or 560 ti would be plenty to run any game you want maxed smoothly. 7850 produces less heat and uses less electricity, but a 560 ti still isnt a bad choice if you prefer nvidia.

Its difficult to say at this point without the full game out and just the beta to go on, I own several different computers at many different levels of performance and the beta (probably full game too) takes some fps drops in large fights, they are major drops on computers with weaker CPUs...
