No i just choose in boot menu and only the cd-rom adapter shows n it the other one does not. Thanks for taking interest in my situation.

Unfortunately because of this problem i didnt get the new ssd because i thought it would not work. When i connect my hdd to the old sata it wont boot and i get no bootable media device error.

yes and i did boot it in default settings incase i messed with them.

I recently bought cd-rom to sata adapter, to use second hdd or ssd in my system but when i put it in my laptop the old sata 0 wont recognize my hdd. Only the new adapter that i bought is recognizing my hdd, now i cant use my old hdd spot what should i do ?!! pls help ;( I have asus x541u.
