A few weeks ago I won and received a core i9 7900x in a giveaway, I have a budget of 1300 to 1500 CAD, I will be purchasing a monitor with the components as well, I will be building the pc in two to three weeks, I would like for the community to give me system ideas , thanks

why are so confident that the 3gb model of the 1060 will be obsolete next year? it may take a bit longer for it to become obsolete. If that model would be obsolete within two years of release then why would nvidia release it in the first place, in my opinion they released this model to offer a...

Nothing really is futureproof, i mean we thought a pc that cost 3000 dollars in 2012 would be future proof for a long time, but that wasn't the case, saving as much money now could lead to you getting the next best thing that comes out within the next few years as the current batch of graphics...

I would still put an ssd as the boot drive for your system to avoid long boot times

There was probably not enough power being delievered to the gpu to run at a higher resolution

Are you planning to do any creative work(photoshop, video editing, etc)?
